MetaMask is the most widely used self-custody wallet in crypto, with 30M+ MAU at peak, originally Ethereum and EVM-only. In 2025 it added native Solana support, so users can now send and receive SOL, swap Solana tokens, and connect to Solana dApps without leaving the wallet.
