DoubleZero is a decentralized fiber-optic network for blockchains, founded by Austin Federa after his time leading strategy at the Solana Foundation. It accelerates validator-to-validator communication via a global mesh of dedicated fiber, and Solana was the first major chain to integrate. The 2Z token is live, and the dzSOL stake pool was seeded with around $537M in SOL.
